The Alitalia fleet is comprised of 149 aircraft.
The important modernisation process begun in March 2009 with the introduction of the new Airbus A320 will continue in the following years and allow the Company to have one of the youngest fleets in Europe. Furthermore, all the seats on the aircraft will be replaced in order to provide passengers more comfort and greater functionality.
On the long-haul routes, service is provided by the Boeing 777-200, Boeing 767-300 Extended-Range version and Airbus 330. On medium-haul routes, service is provided by the Airbus 321, 320 and 319, MD80-82 and Boeing 737-400. Service on the regional routes is provided by the Embraer 170 and Bombardier CRJ900.
