Providence Health -Portland was in the top 100 ``connected`` hospitals in the U.S. They have a computer in virtually every room with a flat panel. (for the staff) Now they are installing flat panel T.V.`s. (for the patients) The new wing is for cancer patients and I am certain if there was something, cutting edge, to take someones mind of their illness while undergoing treatment...(and if it brings in revenues, I say bring it on)

When someone mentioned the privacy issue, I believe they were thinking inline with HIPPA laws. Not what they are going to use these things for.

Maybe now everyone won`t have their TV`s on Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil and Oprah. Darn!
