Seriously, what are the legal rules is my question?

Do the plantiff/defendant law firms sit back and keep their trap shut or are they allowed to inquire? If one or the other are allowed to inquire, she'd have to inform both sides right?

Certainly the judge understands the need for settlement negotiations pre-MH, post MH, pre-MH ruling and post MH ruling. IMO, there must be 4 offers to settle on the table prior to the hearing.

Even the defense said, "a MH may encourage settlements."

Need input from the legal beagles.
