It`s not going to matter what feed to the I/O is used...wired...wireless...or optical....all data will have to pass through the same internal authentication process.

External configuration switches are not going to be utilized to configure anything for this process.

With that...the process is variable allowing varying degrees of one-way... or... bidirectional communication...depending on what the customer requests...concurrent with what content providers will allow.
