e.Digital did not invent flash either, however, specifics of what they have invented make the use of flash much more versatile.

One of the greatest positions of MSFT in past years was its BIOS(CHS:cylinder head sector addressing considerations regarding hard-drives......they had it locked up for a long time....until LBA:logical block addressing came along and they lost their advantages.

The hope(mine anyway) is the BIOS of e.Digital becomes a main stay.....and not just for Flash.
