The Markman hearing is so the Judge can resolve any questions he or she may have as to each claims interpretation for the patent in question. Each side says how they want each claim interpreted. Within roughly 30 to 60 days after the hearing the Judge should submit how each claim is to be interpretd for trial. If the important claims favor edig WOO HOOO! If the important claims favor the defendants than no infringement is likely. We want all of EDIGS interpretations to be what the judge says is to be used at trial for determining infringement.
