Just a short e.Digital summary that sets the table for new investors.....

1) e.Digital has maintained an arsenal of viable patents for well over a decade. Their own past and present products and services utilizing their own patents substantiate the fact that e.Digital is no patent troll.

2) James Sze, a highly respected intellectual property attorney with Duane Morris and a patent holder himself, did enormous due diligence prior to agreeing to take on the list of 185+ targeted multinational companies on a contingency basis, and Woody Jameson, the head of the Intellectual Property Litigation Division of Duane Morris is the lead counsel.

3) The initial round of defendants (headed for the previously scheduled Markman hearing in Texas) all settled primarily due to the e.Digital's motivation to shore up it's own financial strength prior to filing against the second round of targeted defendants.

4) After settlement with the initial round of defendants, e.Digital reached it's multiple goals of...a) millions in cash on hand...b) retiring all debt...c) decreasing burn rate to $125,000+/- per month...d) achieving ongoing royalties...e) increasing income from ongoing IFE service agreements.

5) With the above achieved, the litigation strategy changed dramatically, namely to head for another Markman Hearing (this time in Colorado), but this time with the comfort of financial stability and no motivation to blink.

6) Of the current Markman defendants, only Summitt Global (aka Poloroid) is apparently seeking a yet to be determined settlement.... clearly the ante has been raised By Duane Morris in a significant way.

7) If e.Digital prevails at the 1/28/2011 Markman, there are 150+/- remaining companies that e.Digital, Duane Morris, and Pat Nunally will vigorously pursue.

8) The business model is not unlike that of Qualcom, which coincidentally is where James Sze was once an engineer.

9) e.Digital recently announced the formation of EDIG (EDigital Innovations Group),which will possibly be headed by Pat Nunally, a well respected inventor and patent holder himself, who may head the division in expanding further e.Digital's patent filings and give strength to the company's branding credibility.

10) e.Digital is resolute in raising the stakes, and a successful Markman Hearing on 1/28/2011 will change the fortunes of it's large and loyal core of decade long shareholders, who will be attending the already announced annual shareholders meeting in March...a month or so after the drama unfolds.
