Just a thought: shares are sold that do not exist, but if new shares are created then naked shorts can dress up!
Of course I would prefer that shares be purchased from long term investors who have purchased ``real`` stock rather than have the shorts buy their clothes at a discount at the Men`s Wearhouse.
