Get a clue! First, once authorized, getting shareholder approval to utilize those shares is kinda silly. It`s fairly obvious that, unless there is some deal in the wings that is contingent on availability of those shares, the company will have to issue shares in some fashion to raise money to keep the doors open (in case you haven`t noticed, they`re pretty much broke).
So it`s ``let`s create an additional expense for the company which, at the moment, is in dire straits``. Yup, that makes a lot of sense!
If there is a deal in the wings (as I suspect), it`s ``let`s blow the deal``, or ``let`s get ALL shareholders to sign an NDA because they`ll have to be privy to a pending deal`` (which would automatically disallow any further shareholder transactions on the stock because it would be ``insider trading``, or ``let`s go to jail``). Yup, these make a lot of sense!
Give existing shareholders first right to buy shares. You have that right today! And, if enough shares were purchased today to raise the PPS, shares issued later would being more money! (friendly investors or not).
Gil - Dude! - You`re making my brain hurt again! LOL
All moot, `cuz it ain`t gonna happen.
And BTW, though some keep saying that we`ve been ``mushrooms`` for six years (implying that we haven`t had an opportunity to profit), please adjust to five years. Most of us had an opportunity to capitalize in a big way back in early `00 (but most, like me, didn`t). And back then, we were more in a mode of info overload (and conjecture overload), not quite ``mushrooms`` for quite a while. Deceived by Collier, yes, but not ``mushrooms``. That`s only been for a year or two....
And most of this I KNOW!
