Regarding SHM timing, here’s another thought... maybe it was simply a process of elimination. They’re too busy in October/November with new IP patents and (hopefully) associated business to complete. Late November/December is normally not good for anyone due to the holidays (or scheduled vacations). In January, they’ll be focused on final preparations (and negotiations?) before the Markman hearing. That leaves February as the earliest practical time to hold the shareholder’s meeting.

I’m still betting that most or all defendants will go to Markman, therefore my focus is on whatever they have yet to announce this calendar year... and quite realistically, within the next month or so. We are but a single PR away from what by all accounts should be very good news.

When I consider how management has over the last several years backed way off from over-promising (and under-delivering) due to the many lumps they took in the old days... and then to read their comments now (and over the past several months) regarding elements, significant new investor interest, material events, and new IP business opportunities, I really have to wonder if they are purposefully being careful to low-ball such statements so that they don’t raise expectations too high while still giving us a glimpse into a future that they already know to be a certainty. That is, maybe there’s even more cause for excitement than they’ve been letting on. Despite the company’s past performance, it would not be out of the realm of possibility.

I think whatever is coming is already a done deal at this point and they’re just waiting until the proper time to tell us about it... which I believe they will within the next 5 weeks.
