So, how long does it take for a new residential developement to get built?

Answer, lots of variables once all the red tape is done, then it boils down to the general contractor and the subs, financing flow, availability of materials, the weather, you name it. Not to mention the coordination of all aspects by the onsite project manager.

It's starts with water, sewer, drainage, electrical and roads/curbs, then the lots are graded. Not in order though...

Once the plumbing and electrical stub ups are in place, the slab is poured, I.E. California. The basics come before the begining of building the home itself.

Without a good foundation, forget about going any further!

I'd say e.Digitals slab is poured....finally.
