They shouldn't talk about their new patents until they are filed to the USPTO. Most IP lawyers will not want you talk about potential partnerships until you are at least protected by publication of your provisional patent application [and have a signed NDA] which is about 18 months after filling unless you file for an early publication date. Too much risk that others may try to work around your patent if you give them too much info.

My guess is they already have provisionals filed and haven't yet published so are not searchable to us yet. If they are talking new filings, my guess would be it is something unrelated and new to what we as investors are currently aware of, which is also exciting.
