I thought your point was that Apple had all the techno-know how and therefore would never need an EDIG to outsource to...which is exactly what they did with portalplayer, and which Gateway did with EDIG etc etc
Marketing is another animal, not to mention melding content into the equation...but portalplayer was greatly responsible for the ipod, anyway you slice it...and they benefitted greatly as a result.
What`s wrong, is it making you sick that EDIG could find some success somewhere along the line?
