It seems Inmotion is trying to take a piece of the pie away from InFlight Entertainment on Planes. I don`t think it will last long. Maybe a couple of years...if that.

Because....once the consumer rents the DVD player and goes onboard the plane... They will be sitting beside the traveler watching the DigEplayer loaded with self contained 20+ movies, sitcoms, cartoons, many hours of music and featurettes. DVD quality or better. Early release movies, 30 days before they are released in stores.

I believe they will feel short-changed by comparison.

DVD player versus Digeplayer

DigEplayer will win every time.
