My final thoughts for the night.

I am not concerned that EDIG temporarily shelved the next generation eVU R&D until market conditions can justify the expense, and give the company a return on their/our! investment at a profit margin that is acceptable to their/our balance sheet.
Had they continued forward and burned cash, just to show the investment community they were "still alive" in IFE and got nothing back for months or years, I for one would be PO'd at management. They are still "in the game" with the new and improved current model, to be introduced this month, per e-mail response to DB as posted here.
They have made a concious decision, if I understand the 8/4/10 press release, to take a new direction for the time being, with the efforts of Nunally by their side, to move into new technologies, OUTSIDE OF IFE! They can always take on the new eVU task at a later date, as evidence of statements made in the 8-4-10 press release! What's wrong with changing the business plan when circumstances dictate such???
Not recognizing the need to re-group on a temporary basis, regarding the IFE new product sales aspect of their business plan, is far worse than forging ahead, spending countless thousands of limited cash, to get little return.
What is wrong with their decision to re-think what should be done at this point in time?
IMO, NADA!!!
Sleep tight folks.
