Just to be perfectly clear: my conjecture is in no way based on a Wencor desire to dump EDIG - that`s just the ``Wencor threat`` (which they could conceiveably carry out) if EDIG is not cooperative in giving Wencor what it truly desires - CONTROL (and everything that comes with it; fatter revenues, threats of competitors adopting/licensing EDIG tech eliminated, etc.). So, on the contrary, I think Wencor wants EDIG bad, and is pushing all the right buttons to get us.

Next thought process is, if my conjecture is true and EDIG cooperates, will we be happier campers than we are today? Can`t get my arms around that one....but I tend to think YES, because the alternative is virtually unthinkable based on what we KNOW (we`d become a one-trick pony without a hoop to jump through).
