Even Paul Allen does this sman...lol.

The numbers have probably changed, but at the 2008 SHM, in which the TX 7 had already been in process, the number 174 was the total, with 2 accidentily not blocked from view during the presetation...DOH...lol.

So just for grins, lets say for the sake of a number, we have 148 to go. It is certainly possible some of the 148 may have been dropped, and some added by now, per RP's comments at the 2008 meeting. Who knows?

Here are my thoughts:

  1. Will round 3 still be tier 1, or will we move to 2?
  2. How many will "get their notice" from DM in round 3?
  3. When will "law firm # 2" come into play to handle the DM conflict cases, and will their 1st effort be tier 1 or 2, and how many infringers? The law firm # 2 subject was discussed during Q&A at the 2009 SHM.
  4. If this is a 4 - 6 year process that began with the TX 7, assuming that is when the clock started vs a year or so sooner when DM was engaged in their DD, will we be done in 2012/2013/2014 with this IP effort?

If the goal is to be "done" in that range, DM and to be announced law firm # 2 better get cracking...IMO. The legal process moves at a snails pace from my point of view!

I understand that nobody can answer the questions, but this appears to me to be what we have ahead of us, unless a buyout should occur along the journey.

There are so many angles to consider, while all the pieces to the puzzle are "suspeneded in air" it is mind boggling.

Management has made some pretty bold statements in the last year or so, and I'm waiting for them to deliver.

4 months left in "this calendar year."
