My assumptions included the Markman ruling in our favor, otherwise RP would not have mentioned the $600 million as I used in my analysis.
As to fair market valus, we presently have none, if we had the $600 million sitting on the balance sheet, thenwe could talk about current value and maybe justification for an excess over our value.
As I stated we have no knowledge of the "elements" and encription patent is one of the many unknown variables that should be considered.
The test becomes a matter of ROI and as of now, I see no scenario generating an adequate ROI to justify a buyout, based on the known facts and guesses from various statements.
I can only hope that new imputs will enhance the value and that somewhere out there there is a company that can fully utilize our capability and make a reasonable offer. I'm ready to vote, hope that is the "element" we are waiting for.
