We`re all getting worked up about things... The things that are happening ``in the dark`` are making us second guess things (and what else would you expect?).

Some have heard a rumor that things were not as Happy between Wencor and EDIG as we`d like. No idea of the source of the rumor, but we`ve done some groping about trying to figure a basis for it. I`ve focused more on a ``frustration`` Wencor MIGHT have, that being a perceived lack of control. Just my shot in the dark at a target that may not even exist.

That rumor has been around for a long time, but this Wencor/IMS news brought it to the forefront. But I for one don`t plan to address it further (though I may post an actual ``they should have known`` story). In the grand scheme, it may or may not even matter (even if it were true...when you have a sole source supplier for an essential commodity, you have to learn to live with it).

This latest item (the supposed email from Wencor) certainly doesn`t clear the clouds of doubt. The ``....or equivalent`` words are troublesome. Unfortunately, it (for me) negates the positive feelings from reading (paraphrased) ``we`re going to use the best elements available from APS (EDIG) and IMS``. However, this latest does suggest that there are some ``unknowns`` at this point within Wencor. They may have a preconceived notion as to what they`re going to do, but this latest does suggest that they are going to carefully review their options. We may be lacking answers re: EDIG`s fate with EDIG, but the answers we seek may not be known to anyone yet (even Brent).

We here have a historic automatic tendency to think ``they can`t do it without us``. But, historically, we`ve been proven wrong nearly every time. Hence the present concern....
