Then what ? Pass the files unencrypted where ?
All that smoke for what ?.....They should at least state that after the ``real time decryption``(lol) there is at least a minimial degree of transfer security of the content by the TDL to the end device...and that the revealed file to be decoded into it`s bit stream will only function on a specific processor platform....or the process is worthless.
Thing about this process is.. the TDL is explained to decrypt the files to be decoded.....The unencrypted files then have to be sent to a device to be decoded.....How do they do that..? WIFI...lol....that unencrypted file better have some very special metadata attached to it if it`s important content.
All files loaded to the DigE are pre encrypted post production just as explained for IMS....the files are then loaded into a second hardware encryption scheme on the DigE...at no time do the files sit outside the encryption scheme or the player in an unencrypted state....and if by chance they happened to get caught out side the encryption scheme....the metadata of the files are processor specific...Along with that..IMO..that metadata will not be the same as for the DivX Certified Program...where technicians(hacks) are fimilar with the DivX with the program....top to bottom.
The TDL is now matched to a process where the encrypted files stay encrypted....and can be passed to a user device(DigE) in that state....if content protection is necessary..protect it.
