I think that this paragraph is just the opinion of of the writer of the story. This publication has made mistakes before that they had to retract. I put no stock into this paragraph, which doesn`t appear in the Wencor PR.

This is what is said in the Wencor PR:

``The synergies created by combining the two firms will allow us to leverage products across the industry,`` said Brent Wood, CEO of Wencor, ``We will take the best products and services from each firm and develop better entertainment solutions for passengers than exists today.``

To me, that means IMS`s TDL data transfer technology, with the rest of the best being from APS/e.Digital.
