ITC To Review Apple's IPhone, IPad In HTC 337 Suit

Law360, New York (June 11, 2010) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission voted Friday to proceed with a Section 337 investigation into whether Apple Inc.'s imports of iPhone, iPad and iPod products infringe five of HTC Corp.'s patents covering hardware and software used in portable electronic devices.

Taiwan-based HTC lodged the complaint on May 12, alleging Apple infringed the patents by importing into the U.S. the China-made products, and seeking an exclusion order to halt further imports....

e.Digital filed the infringement action against Canon, Kyocera, Nokia, Pentax, Panasonic, Ikegami, HTC, Coby Electronics, DXG, Roland, Leica Camera, Marantz, Imation, Summit Global (DBA Polaroid), Sakar, TEAC (DBA Tascam), VTech, Wolverine Data, and Samson Technologies (DBA Zoom).

Just a matter of time, imo, before e.Digital takes a bit out of the Apple.
