They just needed to be technical enough to put a wish list together...without specifics of the IC and PCBs....Boyers buddy had that ability....and more IMO.

COST has been one of my reasoning...another...the fear of someone running off with their idea before they got their working ducks in a row....

A question to be asked at the SMH....Was e.Digital involved in the credit card reader development ? As that is a separate issue of the total original package....it was to be capable of WIFI as a stand alone.

It still may be a separate issue...with the readers incorporated to the players.. as a separate platform.
