Message: Encryption Patent Pending Info From RP

"So an "Office Action Letter" from USPTO means the Patent is not denied YET, and they are still working on it, right?...

Wow, it took them three years to essentially its acknowledge the Patent Application?..."

Gil, correct. Not denied, not approved.

When I visited 9/17/09, the comment was "moving along smoothly" with regards to the application. For some reason I had 3 years to complete the process one way or another in my head. Being submitted in 2006 (but what month?) and getting the 1st office action letter this year (but what month?) is already 4 years and 4 months if we assume Jan-2006 to Apr-2010. I cannot substantiate this, but some where I read, and it could have been doni or emit...don't know, the patent request was late 2006 getting us closer to 3.5 years plus.

At any rate, my guess is we will get a decision this year.

I'm not up on the techy part here, so maybe doni and emit can chime in, but my understanding of the encryption part, is basically an enhanced version of one or more of the current patents "mixed together."

In reading some Google articles after RP's reply, health care needs encryption for privacy and the military to protect top secret info. Makes me want to connect the dots and say, "the approval of this patent pending will open the doors into health care and military applications for eVU." Probably stretching to far at this time, but one would think it has potential?

Just sharing my thoughts, and obviously an opinion.
