Amtrack = Kiosk Deal?

Is it possible for the ``kiosk based`` business Atul has mentioned to be the Amtrak deal? or part of it???
The digEplayer reads your credit card so you can`t steal it or if you do steal it, you can`t charge it. Plug `em in at the station or on the train for power. Load new content at the station via kiosk. ???
It sure seems like a lot of people for Amtrak to hire to only use on limited routes??? Overbearing labor rules???
Who are the folks who ride for days on a train? What`s their deal?
Do they: Like the scenic landscape? Scared to fly? Enjoy train crashes? Lonely hearts club? Drunks? Hard core book readers who hate TV? Greyhound rejects? It looks cheaper to fly and certainly is cheaper when you factor in the time lag. I still have not found anything other than anecdotal demographics. ???
In the EU countries, gas is expensive and trains provide cheap transportation. It`s only an hour flight from London to Amsterdam, two to Frankfurt. The US is vast and takes days to cross by train. Is this a market that has growth potential or is it just another niche crash (pun intended). ???
The good news is somebody buys some of our stuff. Inquiring minds-o-mush need to know if this market has legs. ???
