Doesn't matter. I can get your IP if you send me an e-mail using Outlook Express.

My point is what is the purpose, they have all of the data and can easily match some of the IPs with users, at least those with static addresses.

Why should they burden the members to attempt to police this activity?

You may have multiple members in a single family posting using the same computer. Are they to expect that we will challenge one of those individuals as to are they using an alias?

How about members who have a dynamic address, what would you do with that data?

The change doesn't make sense.
