IMO, the reason so many of us are "up in arms" is do to the inadequate explaination as to safe guards being in place to protect privacy.

Also IMO, these boards have enough people with an eagle eye to spot a person posting under more than one name. THIS board when seeing something suspicious, challenges the poster. A posting style is very hard to disguise for very long, and we have seen recent attempts that were eventually exposed.

I'm not ready to close my account, and will give AGORACOM benefit of the doubt to prove to it's members this move to be in the best interest of all concerned.

In addition to comments posted here, many of us have sent e-mails to the company. This company has spent years and countless dollars building a better business model for it's members, and I just don't see them letting it fade away, by making bad choices. I suspect with all the traffic hitting the desk of George and others, it will be addressed.

Bottom line, I will not be one of those testing this new policy, if in fact it is even implimented by Monday 4/26, as I will be a lurker.
