Yes, I'd like them in front of the same crowd they are currently being marketed to, except in the terminal rather than in the plane.
You don't need massive volumes to gauge the acceptance level or the return on investment. You are not selling eVUs to these people, but rather an entertainment option to a captive and frustrated audience looking to distract themselves from their ordeal.
There is no overhead of a brick and mortar operation and the product exposure in the terminal targets the same audience in the plane. Vandalisim would likely be non-existent due to the venue and the credit card swipe eliminates employees.
Maintainance would be the only issue...and being teathered via cable to the chairs allows for power sources other than battery power.
A trial could consist of a mere 20-30 units at targeted terminals more prone to weather issues/delays, that have a history of delays.
If they can't trial something as simple as that, I just wonder. It's just a trial...never say never.
