Look in your data base and see if you got a e-mail that says something to the effect that the "New Generation of eVU" can be "Installed" in a "Hard Wired format"...

I seem to recall this came up in the most recent activity with Lufthansa, when they decided to abandon their own company's efforts in having a hard wired IFE...

What confuses everyone here is not seeing a direct PR relating to EDIG working with Lufthansa to market the eVU in a hard wired format, where the units are stationary and in place, and EDIG just comes over and loads the needed music or movies onto the system using a computer...

The fact that Lufthansa is giving its customers the option of logging onto their site and choose what they want, is certainly compatable with the stationary eVUS being in place, saving man hour time for the stewradess'...
