APS / Wencor owns the trademark and it would seem from their filing in 2003 that they fully intended to take it into other markets.

I asked RP this question and he told me, via VM, EDIG would sell the platform -- obviously not called digEplayer -- to non-IFE markets through a separate sales team.

IMO, all good news. We`ll take any and all forms of the digEplayer. The margins are probably better when sold directly from EDIG, but the credit risk is also much higher when sold direct vs. through Wencor`s team.
