The last paragraph pretty much summs it up as for why ipad won't really appeal in IFE... Sure people can load what they want to take with them, but they've been able to do that with laptops for long-time.

However Row 44 should open this up with Hughes... be nice to put it on a unique encription to stream first-runs without worry. smiley
Have you seen Comcast digital's new offereing - 'Same Day As Theature'' well the email we just got from RP says to me our closed system could come pretty close to this as-is.
