lets just say, that the earlier developments, regarding data management and the latter advanced developments, regarding 445, utilize the same I/O process. With that, companies needing simple contiguous data streaming only, can get by without the ability of 445.

The problem for them is the I/O process..... in delivering simple data, or advanced data.

I/O = Input/0utput and associated caching methods to and from the recording media.

IMO, they are drawing the line @ this point regarding the patents.

RP has stated that they have not given the source code for advanced data management developments......IMO, things will begin to move fast enough that they will sell the developments faster than enforcing IP rights.

The only point they have to get across is the I/O and how it relates to their IP.
