The pattern I have observed over the years is, news hits in this order:

  1. e-mail alert hits between 5:30 and 6:00AM San Diego time on a market open day, or rarely after the bell ditto
  2. Yahoo, Money Central etc pick it up
  3. EDIG puts it on the website within 24 hours of the e-mail

With no e-mail alert, that was my clue that something was not right. They can't pull an e-mail or a PR once it hits a financial site, just send out a correction if any errors exist, but the website is company controlled....

I believe the new website, and the effort to gain more exposure, lends itself for 1 and 3 above to happen at the same time, with 2 being last.

Speculation...hahahaha...we have until Mon morning for that..LOL.

I'll state my wild guess, that it was pulled so they can announce all 3 SS heard in court Jan 20 at the same time, creating a better effect, just as DM filing round 1 and 2 with multiple infringers, raising the "press release bar" to announce group settlements be they royalty bearing or not.

In Major League Baseball, if the 4th batter (clean-up spot) gets 4 RBI's which wins the game, that makes for a good statistic and news worthy in the paper, SI on the web and the local sports news via TV/radio, but if this same guy gets a grand slam to win the game, it has a greater impact.

I'm guessing next week, 3 at once.
