I have made the same arguments in the past and I felt the same as you. However, IMO, the companies identified, in a collective effort, could pound e.Digital into oblivion, and pay less than the 2 million in a settlement fees, ending the whole saga as it might relate to their farmed out efforts ...ie Zoran .....

To me that spells out strength in e.Digital patents that they do not protect their farmed out sources.

I have a different prospective in seeing the first 7 settle.
