Interesting! So Sextant became Thales (or was bought out by Thales). I do believe I read somewhere that Sextant did buy up the rest of B/E`s IFE biz years ago.

But the Thales connection makes more sense of the Air Canada-B/E-Thales deal. Interesting that I found no indication of any teaming or other arrangements between B/E and Thales; but we know there is now an agreement of sorts between B/E and Wencor. Hopefully B/E will henceforth favor Wencor over Thales IFE.
