Success breeds success

I’d like to extend my belated thanks and appreciation to those who attended the SHM and reported the facts and their impressions here. What I take away from these reports along with the knowledge of where the company has been and what has transpired just in the past year is that things are progressing quite nicely for our company.

A corner has been turned, a foundation has been built, whatever you’d like to call it... these are REAL and CONCRETE events and circumstances that we are talking about today. It’s understandable to look at the current share price and still wonder if it will EVER improve substantially since it hasn’t yet despite such obvious good news of profitability and zero debt with settlements and sales looking likely to expand.

The hardest part with any business is getting started. By that I don’t mean deciding to go into business and printing up business cards. I mean getting to the point where you have some real accounts that you can somewhat depend on so that you can begin focusing on growth rather than survival. You and everyone else thinks of your business as "established" and it becomes more likely that you will continue to succeed rather than fail. I think that e.Digital has now reached that critical tipping point where their success thus far will (perhaps not guarantee but) greatly enhance their chances for future success.

While the market may not be very large for the eVU and while the state of the economy keeps many companies from taking on additional risk, those DOING business will want to do business with successful companies that have proven products, money in the bank, and thus... STAYING POWER. For the first time, e.Digital can be considered such a company. I don’t know that it’s possible to overstate how IMPORTANT that is for the company and for us. Those wanting us to be a real company with a steady revenue stream aside from IP revenue appear to be getting their wish. We’re but a few weeks past the WAEA conference and the Digecor decision with new airlines and orders already waiting to be announced. We’ll see how and if things ramp up from here but at least the company isn’t having to deal with a lack of cash this time around.

Speaking of a lack of cash, I sorely would like to see the share price improve as soon as possible (like 6 months ago), but if it takes another 6 months before I can fill my own tanks, then that is how it will have to be. We simply have to give the company a little more time to win additional settlements, sell more product, and to gain some recognition across the larger investment community. Waiting another 3-6 months for these events to unfold (while I wish I didn’t have to) is not unreasonable given the current state of affairs. I remain very optimistic for our future.
