B/E Aerospace swings to 1Q profit, record backlog (BEAV) By Steve Goldstein

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Aircraft cabin interior product maker B/E Aerospace Inc. (BEAV) said it swung to a first-quarter net profit of $4.1 million, or 7 cents a share, with sales up 12% to $197 million. It said it has a record backlog of $760 million. Looking ahead, it sees 2005 EPS of 50 cents a share with revenue growth of 10%, and in 2006, it sees EPS around $1/share on double-digit revenue growth.
