''Why wait an hour to download a Movie'' talking about satellite TV.
Hughes is behind Row44; they own DirecTV.
Now what if you could rent an eVU at a kiosks loaded with movies, maps, medical info, whatever you needed to fulfill your agenda for few weeks or however long you wanted its use; then be able to take that portable unit with you anywhere, say trips/cruises/airline, and dongle it to push your media onto any applicable TV/Auto-LCD/PVR/PC of your wish, or access and interact with the internet off one side of it's OS whilst it retained its secure content untouchable. The unit would have an option to shut-off its screen while pushing data to its host to save power; even to an existing LCD in the back of any airplane seat. And if they wanted it could even have optional DC power for battery-boost and longevity.
You say, they already have this in laptops/notpads/netbooks. I say you are correct, but not one that runs on e.Digital MicroOS Encryption allowing lock-out of other operating system hacks and the total self-sustaining power-efficiency required to do such daunting tasks independently for the most-part and if need-be.
Now that's what I'd call Full-Service.
Lets not forget we did share a booth with Row44 and Alaska Airline was our first and they're doing R44.
Row44 would make a grand partner IMO. So would Hughes.
Who needs to long downloads when ya can carry it anywhere and stream it to multiple venues.
