I`m familiar with the technology and various options/configurations. But InFlight Canada apparently worked both with Wencor and Thales last year to come up with an IFE solution around their iCache system. I understood Thales was then selected by Air Canada to provide IFE. With this latest news, either that has changed or they might still be involved in providing something for perhaps other aircraft. Who knows? I just find it interesting (and funny) after all the efforts to discredit EDIG as the designer of the embedded system for Air Canada last year, that the airline was still in play. It appears now that APS/Wencor at the least will be getting significant business from them (though they appeared to have lost out). It ain`t over til it`s over. And we`re still not there yet.
