It's still too early in the second round of filings to give further guidance beyond what we gave in yesterday's press release: we expect additional licensing revenues this fiscal year and we're raising the bar on our licensing terms. As we explained in last year's shareholders meeting, tier one filings are being directed at companies we believe infringe mainly on key claims within the '774 patent whereas tier two cases are expected to be filed against companies we believe infringe on specific claims within the Flash-R™ patent portfolio pertaining to fundamental techniques in utilizing flash memory (embedded or removable).
Per yesterday's release, we believe our improving financial position and our next generation eVU™ platform will solidify business opportunities in non-IFE markets. Also, with a successful first round of filings completed, a new round of filings against 19 more companies announced and the digEcor case behind us, we are well-positioned to attain greater visibility to the investment community through several programs and options that we are evaluating.
Best regards,
Robert
