Samsung Strikes Deal In DLP Television Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009) -- Samsung Electronics USA has reached a settlement with Cheetah Omni LLC in an infringement suit brought by the patent-holding company over technology used in digital light processing televisions.

Cheetah and Samsung filed a joint motion to stay the case Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, citing the settlement....
