I'm convinced that the next big wave in computers will be the "flash revolution" in which mechanical hard drives are replaced with multi gig flash drives. As has been documented elsewhere on this board, this process has already begun in the "cloud," but the transition is not presently feasible for mainstream consumer use. Imagine the speed increases that will be possible! If EDIG can position itself, via MicroOS, at the center of this sea change in computing, it will be in a very sweet spot indeed.
