This chip is for status quo computing utilizing SSD in place of HDD. Normal main memory is utilized for the shadowing or paging of files for status quo applications in similar fashion to your HDD. This will not change for some time to come because of the applications.
However, e.Digital can bring at this time video and audio applications to the SSD for I/O.
That's for file creation, reading, editing....etc....utilizing the same caching sequences they are squeezing for currently on removable memory.
They utilize the flash in a manner, most notably because of the caching, as main memory eliminating the normally associated RAM resource.
