As for that date being tied to some advance notice prior to the AMS, if they knew the exact date (and advance notice requirement per SEC), it seems they could have gone on to say that the meeting is tentatively planned for a specific or general date (to enable planning well in advance, like saying the meeting will be held between 7/15 and 7/25, and that a specific date will be provided before...). JMHO...
