I think we have discussed this before, but how long after a patent expires, can we bring litigation for past infringement? And the follow up, how many years can we go back from the exprration dates, to determine a figure being asked by DM to settle?

I recall something like 5-6 years on both ends, but not at all clear on the rules by law.
