Let's assume just for grins, starting in 2000, cell phone sales were 100 Mln, and sales increased by 10%/year, a concervative figure based on the article saying 14% this year:

2000 = 100

2001 = 110

2002 = 121

2003 = 131.1

2004 = 146.41

2005 = 161.051

2006 = 177.1561

2007 = 194.87

2008 = 214.359

2009 = 235.795

We are talking 1.491+ Bln phones.

Let's also assume the dismissal of many phones from the lawsuit, and other WAG cuts this down to the infringing quantity to a simple figure of 1 Bln...nice round #.

If we get 25 cents/phone = 250 Mln less say 45% to DM, we get 137.5 Mln smackers.

How about just a dime...??

We get $55 Mln.

Now if I am Mr & Mrs Samsung, and e-mailing alve back and forth mind you, and I could buy the company for between 1.5 and 2 Bln, would I?

Many are taking stabs at what senario fits, and we do not all agree...gee, what a shock...LOL!!
