Doc 175 said both Parties had executed a final settlement and that Samsung has until 19 Oct 2009 to comply with certain obligations. If those obligations are met, and I am confident they will be, both Parties will file a joint motion for dismissal of all claims and counterclaims one week later on 26 Oct 2009. Once the Court approves the joint dismissal, this case is in the books. NEXT!

When the case is closed, and if there is no buy out offer by Samsung, we should see DM file a new round of lawsuits with hopefully 20 or more defendants named. With DISCHINO's report that there will be a shareholder meeting later this calendar year, I would expect EDIG would want to have more in LL's pipeline. You know...to calm the natives and, oh yeah... bring in more IP settlement money!

The rest of 2009 should be a doozy.
