When Goerner came on board, he specifically revealed that those have always been on the table, but licensors always opted for the one-time payment deals instead. Perhaps that will change now, especially if, AS TPL IMPLIES, the price of licensing is going up.

Such a development may help stabilize the pps as it will provide recurring predictable revenue.
