EDIG may not be worth $21.00 a share in your opinion and based on your numbers. However, given what DISCHINO heard, that the tech has value because it is in such wide use and could be in even wider use, being that Samsung could have to pay EDIG big time in a suit and then still not even own the technology, and my own experiences of interacting with RP, $21.00 doesn't seem out of line to me. Maybe in the form of cash and stock or cash and partnerships, but it could still be worth 6 billion. Besides Samsung could make it all back ( and more ) in suits and/or licenses. Book value is not always selling value. Nothing wrong with your perspective. In my perspective ( and hopefully Samsung's) we would just get more money out of the deal. Samsung may even say they see it from your perspective just to pay us less. But hey if they pay more they will have to charge more when sell a license. And of course all this could all be case of "California Dreaming". But first let's get digecor off the plate.
