Hi Richardo,
I stand by what I originally posted. IMO, my reply does take into consideration what amount (without putting a number on it) I consider acceptable in order to bring our pps to a point that would allow LT shareholders to benefit from EDIG in the foreseable future, which to me is 2-3 yrs tops. In other words, none of the numbers that you put forth from Samsung are acceptable to me. It has to be more.
Samsung's one of the largest companies in the world, supposedly one of our biggest infringers, and if we can't get more than a $16-17 mil gross settlement from them, then WHO are we going to get it from? I can't place a value on it, that's not my area of expertise, and there are way too many variables that we are not privvy to.
I do feel that settlement amount wise, it's time to get out of the inflatable wading pool in the back yard and get out into the ocean, otherwise we are going to continue to take one step forwward, and one step back. I hope our patents are strong enough to do this for us all.
